The Federal Commission on School Safety has released a comprehensive resource guide for keeping students and school personnel safe at school. Below is an overview of the Commission and the report as well as links to view the report in its entirety.
COMMISSION BACKGROUND
In the wake of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School
in February, President Donald J. Trump established the Commission and tasked
its members with studying and recommending ways to make our nation's schools
more secure.
You have, no doubt, heard many things about school vouchers. What is true and what is myth? Click on the link below to find answers for your questions as well as critics of school choice.

I was able to join a number of ACSI leaders from across the country at the recent ACSI National Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. We sat in a full day of briefings before visiting legislators the following day. Several bills are being considered that could have significant impact on our schools.
Election
On November 6, the citizens of NYS will have an opportunity to contribute to the direction of our state and our nation. Many key offices at the state, as well as local, level are on the ballot for this year's election. It is important that we as Christian school educators and responsible citizens stay informed and participate. Thanks in large part to the efforts of the New Yorker's Family Research Foundation a Voter's Guide, which will clarify the position of these candidates, is available. Check it out. Stay informed.
Below is the link for February's newsletter from The Council for American Private Education. Included in this issue:
-The CDC relaxes mask guidance for schools
-The Department of Education releases a new report on the impact of COVID-19 on Principals and Teachers
-Homeschool parents in Alabama surprisingly oppose ESA Bill

We are asking all school administrators to send this message regarding our current voter voice campaign throughout your school communities to ask legislators to vote for school tax credits. We need you to do this as quickly as possible to help push this important issue over the top in NY. We are hearing from legislators that without some major grassroots feedback they will not make this a high priority.
You can view and participate in the campaign by visiting our Voter Voice website. This is a very simple and quick way to contact your legislators online; if you choose to use the message that has already been composed, the whole process could take you a minute or less! Feel free to use the paragraph below as is, or tweak it to fit your needs, to send out to your school community. Please communicate them the importance and urgency of this campaign.
